Coming of age "out" and "millennial";
A "designing gay-man" packs a positive outlook;
hearings imminent for Uganda's "kill gays" bill, DOMA under attack in Congress and the courts, EU presses Turkey and Montenegro on LGBT rights, and more global LGBT news

- In "NewsWrap": The Law and Parliamentary Affairs Committee of Uganda's parliament plans to hold hearings on the draconian Anti-Homosexuality Bill as early as next week, while the U.S. House's Financial Services Committee directs the Treasury to think twice about sending foreign aid to countries that persecute LGBT people; bills are introduced in the U.S. House and Senate aimed at repealing the Defense of Marriage Act, while a separate measure that tries to circumvent its discriminatory health care restrictions is also launched and federal lawsuits continue to plague it; 13 "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" protesters who chained themselves to the White House fence appeared in court, but the spotlight fell on the U.S. Attorney's office that chose to lay unusually heavy charges on them; Turkey and Montenegro have to do better on LGBT equality in the eyes of the European Union, or their actions won't be tolerated; Lithuanian conservatives want to try and skirt the wrath of the Euro Court by outlawing gender re-assignment surgery rather than recognizing human rights; Malaysian radio stations censor the LGBT-related lyrics out of Lady Gaga's new queer anthem; tales of the homophobic Aussie bartender, by Armistead Maupin. (written by LUCIA CHAPPELLE and reported this week by CHRISTOPHER GAAL and RICK WATTS).

- From the baby boomers, to Woodstock Nation, to Generation X, each generation seems to live in a totally different reality from the last. This Way Out's BEN CARON sat down with a group of LGBT "millenials" to let them talk about being queer in the 21st Century.

- The CDC reports that more than one million Americans are now living with HIV and AIDS in the U.S., with approximately 55,000 new people becoming infected every year. JACK MACKENROTH, from the hit reality TV series "Project Runway," has been living with HIV for more than 20 years and through his work with LIVING POSITIVE BY DESIGN, a national HIV and AIDS educational campaign, he hopes to educate others about the importance of having a positive outlook on life while effectively managing HIV. He recently sat down with This Way Out’s STEVE PRIDE for a thoughtful conversation about the disease.
