Hey Outvoicers - per Roger Anthony Mapes's posting here a few weeks back - 

I'd have chimed in sooner, but I've been busy working overtime here at URBAN 
PRODUCTIONS recording studio   - and having a ball - producing the brand new 
2009 album of songs for my longtime friend & musical colleague - award-winning 
singer/songwriter Roger Anthony Mapes (formerly Yolanda). 

Thanks for all the many supportive emails we've received on the upcoming 
release. The album represents songs Roger and I have performed together all over 
the U.S.. Roger sings up a storm on it and has never sounded better. 

For a gay music producer, it's always special working in the studio with 
openly LGBT artists. 
Few LGBT musical artists have embodied as many dimensions
of our LGBT rainbow community as has Roger. He is/has been at once part 
openly gay male, part gender warrior, part clown, part drag queen, part bear, part 
spiritual minister, part radical faerie, part rock band frontman   - and an 
activist for so many worthy LGBT-related humanitarian/social/political causes. 
He's a true queer force of nature.

 Greetings everybody....
NEW SONGS!!! NEW SHOWS!!! and REUNITING with ROBERT URBAN!!! As of Feb 2009, 
I have reunited with my friend, guitarist, writer, and producer Robert Urban. 
This is very exciting to me because Robert and I played together when I was 
Yolanda. We had such a great time together and Robert has always been a great 
influence on my music.
We'll be collaborating on new songs (some originally written in the YOLANDA 
days and some just written) and a new live show coming up in May 09. Robert and 
I have a lot coming up over the next few months, so stay tuned.
