Singer/songwriter Mary Lambert shares her "Secrets";
A lone lesbian couple ties the knot in the Lone Star State;
An Arkansas alert falls on mostly deaf activist and ally ears;
Finland's queer couples must wait 2 more years for marriage equality,
Ireland sets the date, a Washington state judge rules that religious
belief is not a license to discriminate, and more global LGBT news!

- In "NewsWrap": Finland's president signs a marriage equality bill into law that won't take effect until 2017, while Ireland's Prime Minister sets the date for the national marriage equality referendum for May 22nd… Japan's Prime Minister tells parliament that the constitution doesn't permit marriage equality… Colombia's highest court allows same-gender couples to adopt their partner's biological offspring, but refuses to open adoption to lesbian and gay couples more generally… a Washington state judge rules that religious belief does not give a business open to the public a license to discriminate against gays and lesbians; but after "much prayer", a Detroit, Michigan pediatrician refuses to treat the 6-day-old baby daughter of a lesbian couple [with comments by co-mom JAMI CONTRERAS].. and more LGBT news from around the world (produced by STEVE PRIDE, written by GREG GORDON, and reported this week by SARAH SWEENEY and JOHN DYER V) + Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar winner GRAHAM MOORE (for the Alan Turing biopic "The Imitation Game") also contended for "most inspiring acceptance speech" at the February 22nd ceremonies in Hollywood.

- Has ARKANSAS become a "no go zone" for national LGBT advocates and allies? A repressive measure in the Razorback State banning local anti-bias protections for LGBT people has received sparse attention from the press or the politicos. But it didn't escape the attention of MSNBC's JOSÉ DÍAZ BALART and the AP’s ANDREW DEMILLO.

- A judge this week made SUZANNE BRYANT & SARAH GOODFRIEND, a couple for 30 years, the first same-gender couple in TEXAS to get a marriage license. The couple told their story to the "Austin American-Statesman" before state Attorney General Ken Paxton won a stay of the judge’s ruling from the Texas Supreme Court, and vowed to have their marriage nullified (with brief comments by TRAVIS COUNTY CLERK DANA DeBEAUVIOR).

- There's a lot you may not know about the singing, songwriting and spoken word artist featured on the Grammy-winning Macklemore and Ryan Lewis track "Same Love". This Way Out's CHRISANNE EASTWOOD discovered how a nice SEATTLE Christian girl became MARY LAMBERT (with excerpts from "Same Love", "Heart On My Sleeve", and "Secrets”).
