U.S. Republicans board a ship of fools with harbingers of hate;
True love speaks up in "Gay Conversations With God";
Mormons swap non-discrimination for religious exemption, an "outed"
Chinese worker sues for wrongful termination, Nigerian birthday party
guests are busted for "planning a gay wedding", an Egyptian appeals
court clears "debauched" Egyptian bathhouse arrestees, and more news!

- In "NewsWrap": The Mormon Church supports anti-bias protections for LGBT people in the U.S., as long as there's an exemption for "sincerely held religious belief", while Idaho lawmakers for the ninth year reject a proposal to ban discrimination in the state based on sexual orientation and gender identity, while a court in Shenzhen hears China's first-ever gay workplace discrimination lawsuit… 12 young men in northern Nigeria are busted by Islamic state police for "planning a gay wedding", while 9 young gay men in Uganda are attacked by a mob, arrested by police and tortured behind bars, but an Egyptian appeals court closes the cases against 26 men who were charged with "debauchery" in December in an infamously-televised Cairo bathhouse raid… a Sicilian city names a road for gay British World War II Nazi code-breaker Alan Turing… and more LGBT news from around the world (produced by STEVE PRIDE, written by GREG GORDON, and reported this week by MICHAEL ALLAN & CAROLE MEYERS).

- Leaders of AMERICA'S "GRAND OLD PARTY" were packing for a definitely-not-gay old time on a trip to ISRAEL, but their homophobic tour hosts may not get them to the political Promised Land they were expecting. While most of the mainstream U.S. press let the potential scandal slip by them, MSNBC's RACHEL MADDOW covered the unfolding story not once, not twice, but three times on her show last week [includes a brief comment by "Ha'aretz" reporter DEBRA NUSSBAUM COHEN, and many of AMERICAN FAMILY ASSOCIATION mouthpiece BRYAN FISCHER's most outrageous pronouncements].

- Rachel Maddow's reports on the unholy alliance between the Republican National Committee and the American Family Association demonstrate what's played up as an eternal conflict between the Christian and the queer. But is there an antidote for the anti-LGBT poison spewed by such religious-right hate groups? JAMES ALEXANDER LANGTEAUX, the author of a new book on religion "for the left of us" - "GAY CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD: STRAIGHT TALK ON FANATICS, FAGS AND THE GOD WHO LOVES US ALL" - shared some healing words with "This Way Out's" STEVE PRIDE (with outro music from "God Loves Gay People, Too" performed by WILLIE HENDERSON and friends).
