> Hello from the studios of KPQR in Portland, OR.
> In exactly one year Wild Planet has moved into Q Center, built a studio, developed on-air programming, created an active volunteer program & even interviewed noteworthy persons such as Margaret Cho, Paula Poundstone & The Mowglis (pictured above right).

> We are now at a crucial juncture in the process of being able to go live on 99.1 FM. We need your help in acquiring vital broadcast equipment to launch our signal. A transmitter, antenna and the labor involved with installation are the pieces needed to make this happen. Our tower lease is  in place, and now we're hoping we can count on your support through direct donation.

> Wild Planet Radio(KPQR 99.1FM) is a non-commercial not-for-profit radio station entirely devoted to LGBTQ programming. Our mission is to be a voice for Portland's LGBTQ community through sharing stories, music and news. Our radio station is designed to inspire, educate, uplift and encourage all people.
