Film fans favor bi-curious couples in "The Happy Sad";
"Face Off HIV" unmasks the many faces of AIDS;
A syndicated columnist answers a question that never seems to get old;
A Russian lesbian's regional "no promo homo" conviction is overturned,
Belgrade Pride seems to be Serbia's E.U. membership ticket, a second
Loh-rated ruling upholds Singapore's gay sex ban, and more LGBT news

-
 In "NewsWrap": A Russian court overturns a regional "no promo homo"
law, but a bill is introduced in parliament to remove children from
homes headed by lesbian or gay parents, and adoptions of Russian
children by married Swedes are prohibited… Serbia's president promises
the Council of Europe, which his nation is eager to join, that this
year's ban on an LGBT Pride march won't be repeated next year, while
skeptical equality activists demonstrate with pride anyway in a
virtually impromptu late-evening rally outside the Prime Minister's
office in Belgrade… the same Singapore High Court judge who upheld the
city-state's law criminalizing consensual adult gay sex in April again
passes the buck to legislators in a second legal challenge to the
colonial era sodomy statute.. Evan Mantel of the rabidly homophobic
Media Research Center grouses about being moved by the charming TV
engagement of gay couple Mitchell and Cam in the season opener of
"Modern Family"… and more LGBT news from around the world (written by
GREG GORDON, produced by STEVE PRIDE, and reported this week by MICHAEL
LEBEAU and CAROLE MEYERS).

- You may not think of the U.S. state
of MINNESOTA as a major HIV/AIDS center, but it’s home to a new
multi-media project that aims to get people to put the ribbon back on.
"This Way Out" correspondent DIXIE TREICHEL [from "Fresh Fruit" on
KFAI-FM in Minneapolis-St. Paul] chats with "FACE OFF HIV" producer and
principal author KEITH PEDERSON.

-
It's been a film festival hit, and now you, too, may get to see director
 RODNEY EVANS' exploration of bisexuality and open relationships. "This
Way Out's" STEVE PRIDE got the story on the story of "THE HAPPY SAD"
from Evans and lead actor LEROY McCLAIN (with audio clips from the
film).

- Who wears the heels in your
relationship, and what does it mean? Syndicated lesbian columnist ABBY
DEES answers the age-old question, "WHO'S THE MAN?"
