Lea DeLaria: all jazzed up and everywhere to go;
The Ninth Circuit stands pat on Proposition 8;
This year's Mr. Gay World contest is recapped in a "Rainbow Minute";
Denmark weds civil marriage equality to religious rites, "DOMA" dies
again in U.S. federal court, Moscow bans Pride for a century, Mormon
allies build bridges to Salt Lake Pride, and more global LGBT news

- In "NewsWrap": Denmark becomes the eleventh country in the world to open marriage to same-gender couples... yet another U.S. federal court declares DOMA unconstitutional, this time in a case involving 83-year-old lesbian widower Edie Windsor... The Moscow City Court bans Pride for 100 years, but Poland's capital of Warsaw and Latvia's capital of Riga each host peaceful Pride marches, as many as 30,000 party with Pride in Mexico City and a like number do it in Tel Aviv, while Chevy's Volt "comes out" for Detroit Pride and supportive Mormons make history with Pride in Salt Lake City, Utah... plus other LGBT news from around the world (written by GREG GORDON, produced by STEVE PRIDE, and reported this week by TANYA KANE-PARRY and JOHN TORRES).

- Hot on the heels of last week’s First Circuit appeals court ruling that found the Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional -- again -- the NINTH U.S. CIRCUIT COURT OF APPEALS struck another judicial blow for marriage equality on June 5th. As Pacifica Radio's TINA BACHEMIN reports, the decision of a three-judge panel said all the Ninth Circuit needed to say about CALIFORNIA's PROPOSITION 8 (with comments by American Foundation for Equal Rights co-founder CHAD GRIFFIN; Prop 8 backers’ lawyer ANDY PUGNO, and challenging attorney THEODORE OLSON).

- April's historic "MR. GAY WORLD" contest in South Africa is recounted in this "RAINBOW MINUTE" (produced by JUDD PROCTOR & BRIAN BURNS in the studios of WRIR-FM in Richmond, Virginia and read by DUSTIN RICHARDSON).

- Is she a lesbian comic? Is she a jazz singer? Is she a Broadway star? Well maybe she's just LEA DELARIA. While touring in the U.K., the multi-talented DeLaria stopped by the studios of Resonance FM's "Out in South London" to discuss her origins and future plans with ROSIE WILBY (with a "cleaned up" excerpt from a DeLaria stand-up comedy performance, intro and outro music from "All That Jazz" performed by LEA DELARIA, and original production thanks to SABINE SCHERECK).
