[OutVoice] For those who recall JULES and THE C-NOTE BAR, NYC

Hey everyone:

At yesterday's Poly Pride rally in Central Park, NYC, I thought the guy running the sound system looked familiar -
turns out it was JULES BAILIS  - who owned the legendary, now-closed C-NOTE BAR. For two years around 2004-2005
Jules kindly offered his C-NOTE BAR to the old Outmusic monthly Open Mic and to 
URBAN PRODUCTIONS BOLDLY PRESENT shows - where dozens & dozens - 
I daresay, hundreds - of LGBT artists gave memorable performances. 

At a time when it wasn't all that easy to find a decent live venue friendly to openly out lgbt live events,
Jules treated us all in the same welcoming, fair, generous, equal way 
he treated all musical artists at The C-Note Bar. Our LGBT events at C-Note only stopped because
he had to sell the place in 2006. IMHO - Jules is truly eligible for some kind of LGBT award.

I know Jules misses the C-NOTE very much. He would LOVE to hear from any of us who recall 
The C-Note, and he'd especially love to get any pics, links, videos anyone might
