Iconic crooner k.d. lang talks about her music, love, and life;
Backstage with award-winning multi-platform playwright Jane Anderson;
Pride marchers meet mayhem in Moscow, LGBT parades are aborted in
Montenegro and Belarus, Aussie fundamentalists can't silence calls for
marriage equality, the Church of Scotland lifts its blanket ban on gay
clergy, Pride is accidentally on display in Afghanistan, and more news

- In "NewsWrap": Dozens of arrests follow attempted attacks by right-wing homophobes against LGBT activists on May 28th at yet another banned Moscow Pride march, while the tear-gassing of an LGBT rights concert in Montenegro's capital of Podgorica leads activists to cancel what would have been that nation's first Pride parade on May 31st, and LGBT activists in Belarus defy a ban to march in Minsk, but small groups of disruptive fundamentalist Christians can't stop marriage equality marches in Brisbane, Queensland, and Adelaide, South Australia... the Church of Scotland lifts its outright ban on "out" lesbian and gay pastors but orders a 2-year study to fully resolve that issue and whether or not pastors can bless same-gender unions... to no one's surprise, the GOP-controlled U.S. House of Representatives passes an annual defense spending bill with three amendments designed to at least impede the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell... LGBT Pride is accidentally displayed in Kabul, Afghanistan – until drivers discover what their rainbow bumper stickers represent... and more LGBT news from around the world (written by GREG GORDON, produced by STEVE PRIDE, and reported this week by BEN CARON and CHRIS WILSON).

- "This Way Out's" BEN CARON got a backstage pass to visit during the run of her latest play in Los Angeles with iconic lesbian writer JANE ANDERSON – and he took us along.

- Canadian once-country singer k.d. lang crooned her way into being practically a musical genre unto herself. She opened up about the singular journey she's been on with ROISE WILBY during Rosie's "Out in South London" program on Resonance-FM (with intro/outro music from "I Confess" from k.d.'s new "SING IT LOUD" CD).
