[OutVoice] Flying with guitars

I know several people who use those little travel guitars. Jill  Sobule 
plays in concerts and it sounds great.
 
I've had to explain my tuner to a couple of TSA agents but my favorite  
reaction was to the beaded bra from my bellydance costume. :)

Good article Jamie. I've resorted to the Fernandes nomad travel guitar in  
gig bag. I get it on without much fuss and put its DI boxes and other  
accessories through underneath in a suitcase. By the way, has anyone ever  tried 
to explain a Baggs DI Box when the guitar has already been put on as  
baggage? The only saving grace was that a guitar-playing inspector from  another 
lane finally came over and confirmed the DI box's musical  intentions. All
