Greetings from THE WAVOS, with exciting news from the band: Absolution @UC87
is the NYC club to see us in!!  In July we played our goth-rock tribute show
"GOTHOS" for this fantastically receptive crowd, and as a result we've
decided to make UC87 our official downtown NY home! You've got to see this
place on Friday night: two floors of great dance music by some of NY's best
deejays spinning Goth, EBM & Industrial in the basement and Synthpop & New
Wave upstairs, and lots of fantasmically-dressed people, very pretty indeed.
Black is the color!

On Friday we're playing a live synthpop show upstairs, this time as THE
WAVOS. Check it out at www.absolutionnyc.com. You've never heard the band
sound so good as we do in this room, and we're premiering a brand-new look,
stage show and new Wavos songs Normal Girls and People Who Talk in Elevators
(which you may remember from our Rubberlegs days).

On Saturday night we'll be taking over the Underground Lounge, on the upper
west side. So even if you can't make it Friday, this is a chance to see us
play earlier and longer.
