Over 40 LGBT organizations had signed on to the event entitled ONE NATION WORKING TOGETHER FOR JOBS, JUSTICE AND EDUCATION FOR ALL. Hundreds of queer activists showed up at the Lincoln Memorial, but for some the fit was less than comfortable in a crowd of tens of thousands where their issues were buried and their representatives were given short shrift.
