About five years ago, performer Jade Esteban Estrada came to St. Louis with 
a sweet  one-man show, “Tortilla Heaven,” in  which he played all the 
members of a family very much like . . . well, very much  like the Estradas. 
Now he’s returning with  another solo effort, this one about HIV. But ”A 
Lullaby for Ryan: The  History of  HIV/AIDS in America,” is a lot more 
theatrical than that title sounds. An  original musical-comedy (Estrada wrote it), 
“Lullaby” finds Estrada portraying a  host of characters, among them Rock 
Hudson, Miss Protease Inhibitor 1996  and “Boobs,” AKA the bubonic plague. 
Estrada, who  tours internationally, has appeared on “30 Rock” and ”The 
Graham  Norton Effect.” He was the host of the 19th annual South Florida GLAAD 
Media  Awards, which aired on Bravo. 
The show starts at 7 p.m. on  Tuesday, Feb. 16, at the Urban Eats Cafe, 
3301 Meramec St. Tickets - $12 in  advance, $15 at the door – are available 
through Urban Eats  (urbaneatscafe.com/tickets). The show is presented by Urban 
Eats, Ragged Blade  theatre and the St.  Louis LGBT  Center. A portion of 
the  proceeds will benefit the center.
