Mexico's high court orders national recognition of its capital city's same-gender marriages, Costa Rica's top court quashes a majority vote on minority rights, complications abound in Prop 8 litigation, Mass. appeal
draws the next steps in Obama's DOMA dance, and more global LGBT news

- In "NewsWrap": Mexico's Supreme Court rules that the same-gender marriages in Mexico City that they said last week are constitutional must be recognized across the country, while Costa Rica's Constitutional Court rejects a proposed civil unions ballot measure because a majority cannot be allowed to vote on the rights of a minority... additional legal wrangling over the federal constitutionality of California's marriage equality-banning Proposition 8 continues, as a new CNN poll shows first-time national majority support in the U.S. for same-gender marriage equality... the Obama administration has 60 days to appeal a federal court ruling in Massachusetts that overturned key provisions of DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act... Air Force Lt. Col. Victor Fehrenbach, believed to be the highest-ranking U.S. military officer currently facing the boot under "Don't Ask Don't Tell", files a first-ever federal lawsuit to stop his discharge (written by GREG GORDON, and reported this week by RICK WATTS and JOHN TORRES) + "This just in": There was a poor response to the Pentagon's controversial "Don't Ask Don't Tell" troop survey about repeal as its return deadline loomed.

- Homosexuality in the animal kingdom? "IT'S ONLY NATURAL" in a "RAINBOW MINUTE" (produced by JUDD PROCTOR and BRIAN BURNS at WRIR-FM in Richmond, Virginia and read by DUSTIN RICHARDSON).

- As a little boy WILLIAM "BILLY" MURRAY's parents took him to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus every year. But this year instead of being in the audience, Billy accomplished his lifelong dream and is now performing in "The Greatest Show On Earth". "This Way Out" Entertainment Reporter STEVE PRIDE sat down with Murray for a chat, only to discover that - while all the world loves a clown - he likes this gay clown the best [www.billy-murray.com; www.ringling.com].
