January 22, 2009 marks the thirty-sixth anniversary of the US Supreme
Court's 1973 Roe v. Wade decision recognizing the right to full reproductive
privacy. Roe, and it's 1972 birth-control-rights-for-singles forerunner, Baird v.
Eisenstadt, formed the constitutional basis for 2003's Lawrence v. Texas,
which repealed the country's LGBT-hostile "anti-sodomy" laws, then on the books
in most of these United States.

I've got a number of reproductive rights songs, including "Remember Rose: A
Song For Choice," "Where Were The Flowers," "Marchin' With Molly Yard," "White
Men In Black Dresses" (about the Catholic hierarchy), and "Ballad of Billy
Baird." If anyone want's mp3s of these for anniversary airplay or events,
please email me and I'll send them along. _SandyRapp at aol.com_
