Upstart Press are delighted to announce that they will be publishing an?updated edition of the "Harris Guide" - the only GLBT media guide available in print - in the early Fall of 2009.?? Paul Harris has compiled three previous GLBT press directories starting in 1999. One of them was nominated for a prestigious Lambda Literary Award.

The book will contain details, contact information, and the names of publishers and editors of all the GLBT print publications, radio and TV shows aimed at GLBT consumers, as well as the fast growing list of blogs aimed at the GLBT population.

As with previous editions of the book there will be a pre-publication offer to performers, writers, journalists, cartoonists, composers, publicists, activists, etc whereby the book will be mailed to them directly in a padded envelope and at a price including postage and packing that will be less than the published retail price of the book.
