Hensci Did you know that November is American Indian Heritage Month? It is
a time to honor our Native ancestors and family and thank them for the role
they play in our lives. It is a time to reflect and find pride in all that
you are, down to your blood, your soul.

This month there are many ways that you too can help celebrate American
Indian Heritage Month. Purchase a CD by a Native artist. Buy a Native
film. See if a Native artist has a gallery show in your area. Purchase a
book by a Native author or enjoy a Pow Wow (my tribe, the Poarch Band of
Creek Indians, is having their annual Pow Wow over Thanksgiving). Write me
if you like and I¹ll tell you some of my faves.

In other Native news, my video, What¹s Your Name, is still on TV on the Logo
channel thanks to all of your votes. If you¹d like to vote again please
click below. Feel free to pass along this note to your friends, coworkers
and family and let them vote as well. You can vote as many times as you
like. You don¹t have to fill out the info at the bottom for the vote to
count. But if you do, let them know you¹d like to see more Native artists
on their channel.

Came in at #10 this week. Thanks for your votes!!! The show airs again at
7am EST on Thursday morning. Tune in at 12am EST on Friday night to see if
your vote helped me stay on the charts.

I¹ve also been nominated for 3 StoneWall Society Pride in the Arts Awards.

I am nominated in the following categories

* Favorite Male Musician
* Song of the Year (What¹s Your Name)
* Musical Artist of the Year

Voting for the Stonewall Awards ends soon. You can vote for the awards at:
