Oumusic, Outvoice and Stonewall Society Folks;

After weeks of waiting, E-mailing, calling, and sending press materials, I finnally got another response from the Pride committee.
I am a bit dissapointed. The entertainment director said he MAY have a few spots open for local artists who will play for free.
I would still like to submit some names to him of out of town artsists if they are able to afford doing it without pay. I understand how difficult this is to do, but if any of you are going to be in the area or find it worthwhile to make a trip to Nashville for the experience of playing Pride, I would be happy to submit your name and EPK to him. I cannot promise he will book you, but if you want me to try on your behalf it may be worthwhile. As far as the smaller acoustic stage that I am helping to book, it will be the same deal. There are a few spots for no pay.

I am dissapointed that more did not come of this endeavor, but it may lead to more next year. Nashville has a only been having Pride for a few years so far and sometimes things are slow to change. I will be sure to keep in touch with those in charge of entertainment and keep trying to work with them.

So, if anyone is still interested let me know right away and I will do what I can to get you in on the main stage or perhaps put you on the second stage.
Again, I am sorry more did not come of this, but I tried.
