[OutVoice] Washington DC Open Mic

Hi Outsters, what's up?
I've been working for several months to find a venue in the DC area 
that will play host to an Outmusic Open Mic, and I've FINALLY found 
one, and they're so excited about the idea that they want to start 
RIGHT AWAY!
As a novice openmic organizer, I'd be thrilled to get advice from some 
of the pros out there (email me at maralevi at gmail.com).

And of course, any DC-area musicians - please come out to Phase 1 on 
Thursday, April 13th at 8:00 (performing begins at 8:30) to sign up and 
join in!
It's at 525 8th St SE (8th and G).

I'm also looking for feature performers - we have someone for the 13th - Laura Tsaggaris (check her out!), and I assume (still not sure) that the second will be May 
11th.
Shoot me an email if you're interested in coming to DC.  Things are new 
and exciting here, and I have 2 supercute cats whom you can meet if you 
come stay with me (and play the open mic, of course)...
