[OutVoice] Cantiamo Opera Co. - making beautiful classical singing hip again

Somewhat off the usual beaten path of rock...

For gay opera fans & singers, (especially Gilbert & Sullivan) - do check out 
the new NYC based CANTIAMO OPERA theater company - a sponsored project of 
FRACTURED ATLAS. They are mounting truly innovative yet musically authentic 
in-concert versions of G&S and other exciting operatic works and revivals.   

Gilbert & Sullivan have always held a special place in the hearts of gay 
opera singers & fans. The love affair continues with Cantiamo Opera - there are a 
few performances of their G&S inspired SING A MERRY MADRIGAL left in 
Manhattan.   Of special note - Cantiamo's kaleidoscopic G&S ensemble chorus work is 
nothing short of stunning.

I believe this very youthful, dynamic & gay-friendly opera theater company is 
also auditioning singers for future productions. And they will be touring the 
U.S. and Europe.
