Coming this Spring, a new Boys' Entrance magnum opus on the subject of obsession: "Tunnelvision". 14 new songs by Tim Cain + a cover of Peter Gabriel's, "Love To Be Loved". Cain is working with a producer for the first time ever, namely Timmy Samuel of the band, The Nancys. Timmy is a long-time friend and collaborator in Boys' Entrance, having contributed lyrical drumming on, "The Queer Punk Folder", and engineered, "FLASH". Timmy also co-produced the single, "Jon-Henri Damski (Queer Thinker, Queer Thoughts)" and produced the video for that song. His arrangements of Cain's songs thusfar are sometimes staggeringly beautiful to stunningly powerful. He has never ceased to surprise and delight. We trust you will scooping up handfulls of "Tunnelvision" and passing them out to your friends, content in knowing how clever you are for being tuned into the zeitgeist of the moment.

Here is the track order of "Tunnelvision":

"Mr. Sissy"- straight-up boogie rock ala Bad Company, a new B.E. anthem for pissed-off queers everywhere

"I'm Straight"- a techno-infused blues for the confused

"Metalurgy"- a dense industrial ode to "sucking the chrome off a trailor-hitch"

"The 13th Step"- drum & bass influenced salute to the practice of bedding another member of "the Program".

"The Body Snatchers"- droll Sci-Fi electronica story of "invaders" who enter through the "back door"

"Rock 'n Roll Swisher"- our salute to the blue bewigged one, Fausto Fernos.

"Platinum Lover"- arena rocker commentary on our "Platinum" society

"Mr. Sausagefinger"- a smooth Roxy influenced dance number salute to digital love.

"Can't Have You"- Boys' Entrance on Broadway version of the phrase, "Look, but don't touch."

"Devistation Suite"- Hip-Hop infused epic dedicated to yearning

"Devil's Blues"- as the title suggests, this blues explores possession as much as possessing

"I Hate You Very Much"- "life is a cabaret" and so is this song that delves into the hate that so often follows love.

"Back to One"- is this a lost Pink Floyd track from "Dark Side.."? It could be, but it is not.

"Holdin' On"- if Eno produced Chris Issac, you might get this.

"Love To Be Loved"- a faithful homage to Gabriel caps this song-cycle with just the right note of sympathy for the Devil in us all.

The musicians in this year's line-up of Boys' Entrance are:
Tom Heslin aka King Moonracer: Tom and Tim have worked together since 1988 when Tim performmed in the prog-rock band, Random Axis. Tom is talented multi-instrumentalist and journeyman bassist. Tom performmed on the single, "Jon-Henri Damski..." and has performmed in the live line-up of Boys' Entrance for many years.

Greg Kulma: a drummer like no other. Greg was also a founding member of Random Axis- and I think he and Tom have played together for even longer than 20 years. Together, the rhythm section of Kulma and Heslin are every bit as deep as Marotta and Levin, or Bruford and Levin. Greg has also played in the live line-up of B.E. for years, and was featured with the band in the JHD video.

Mitch Marlow: Mitch is the newest member of Boys' Entrance, but has known Cain even longer than Kulma and Heslin. Marlow played in Cain's college band, Talltrees back in 1983 and '84. He has subsequently played in Jinx Titanic's band, aka Super 8 Cum Shot.
He is a respected guitarist, and now music manager for the major-label act, The Red Walls. We are very lucky to have him contributing to the music of Boys' Entrance.
