Dear American Pride Community,

Something is buzzing in the air,
we've been getting a lot of calls and e-mails
asking about status of AMERICAN PRIDE.

Q television has offered to develop the show, 
and Madonna's new TV production firm MAVERICK TV
has signed on as partners.

The critical acclaim and Oscar chatter around BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN
is helping a lot. The film is great, bring tissues cause you're gonna
cry,
and it's one of the first mainstream projects to address love, in
western gay culture.

BROKEBACK is about two ficticious characters whilst
AMERICAN PRIDE is about you- real people, living, working, singing,
loving,
and just wanting to be accepted, treated equally.

We are working on it everyday. Many people have dropped away, many have
hopped onboard.
Thank you to Doug Stevens for his sage advice, Thank you to Patrick
Haggerty for his faith,
and thank y'all for staying in contact, envisioning it being produced
and airing by
holding it positively in your thoughts and prayers.
